Job summary

Prudential Overall Supply is seeking an Automotive & Fleet Mechanic in Riverside, CA to maintain and repair our fleet of commercial vehicles and ensure safe, reliable operations.

You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose mechanical, electrical, and diesel systems, and ensure compliance with DOT and company standards while working in a OSHA-compliant shop.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial fleet vehicles.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Fleet Mechanic or related role.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations and vehicle compliance requirements.
• Experience with diesel engines, electrical and hydraulic systems preferred.
• Ability to independently diagnose and repair mechanical issues.
• Must possess the tools necessary to perform job duties.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Military maintenance experience is highly valued.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled inspections on fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel engine systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair commercial trucks and fleet equipment to minimize downtime.
• Ensure all vehicles meet company, state, federal, and DOT compliance requirements.
• Conduct safety inspections and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Communicate repair status, maintenance needs, and recommendations to management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant shop environment.
• Promote safe work practices and high-quality workmanship.
• Assist with emergency repairs and other maintenance-related duties as assigned.
• Travel overnight when required to support fleet operations.
