Job summary

A utility engineering firm located in Manassas, VA is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preventative maintenance and repair of construction equipment, including trucks and trailers. A valid CDL-A Driver's License is required, and familiarity with diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems is a plus. This role offers a competitive pay rate of $27 - $30 per hour, plus excellent benefits including health insurance and 401k.

Qualifications

• Experienced in Preventative Maintenance and repair of construction equipment.
• Experience in Diesel, Hydraulic, and Electrical systems is a plus.
• Possible overnight travel may be required.

Skills

Experience with commercial truck and trailer DOT and PM inspection and repair

Basic truck and trailer electrical diagnostics and repair

Chassis and air brake knowledge and repair

Maintaining Vermeer and/or Ditch Witch directional boring equipment

Welding and fabrication

Valid CDL-A Driver's License
