Job summary

Blackwell Miami Inc is seeking a full-time diesel technician for our Fort Lauderdale fleet repair shop, serving light, medium, and some heavy-duty trucks. You will perform PMs, DOT inspections, electrical and diagnostic work, engine/drivetrain repairs, and road tests to keep commercial fleets on the road.

Candidates need 3+ years’ experience, a valid CDL Class B or higher, your own tools, and solid diagnostic abilities. ASE certs are a plus; bilingual English/Spanish is welcome.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as diesel/fleet/auto technician.
• Active CDL Class B or higher.
• Strong diagnostic skills with scan tools and wiring diagrams.
• Own hand tools.
• ASE certifications are a plus.
• English or Spanish speakers welcome.

Responsibilities

• PM services and DOT inspections.
• Electrical and diagnostic work.
• Engine and drivetrain repairs (gas and diesel).
• Brake, suspension and steering repairs.
• A/C troubleshooting and repair.
• DPF, DEF and regen issues.

Full-time · Shop in Fort Lauderdale, a short drive from Davie · 6 days a week, 10 hours a day

Fleet repair shop looking for a skilled diesel technician to keep commercial fleets on the road. Most of our work is light and medium duty — delivery vans and box trucks — plus some heavy duty trucks, both gas and diesel. Plenty of work every day.

WHAT YOU NEED

• At least 3 years as a diesel, fleet or auto technician
• Active CDL, Class B or higher (required)
• Solid diagnostician — you track down the real problem with a scan tool and a wiring diagram
• Your own hand tools
• ASE certifications are a plus
• English or Spanish speakers welcome
