Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid AZ CDL Class B with P and S endorsements and AZ Bus Driver Certificate required.
• Journeyman Mechanic experience; ASE certification preferred.
• Excellent driving record; driving record verified annually.
• CPR and first aid certification required.
• Must pass physical exam and drug screening; IVP fingerprint clearance.
• Must be able to drive any vehicle assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on district fleet vehicles.
• Identify, order, and secure parts for repairs.
• Maintain time, materials, and repair records.
• Ensure vehicles meet safety and emissions standards.
• May travel and work outside normal hours; respond to emergency repairs.
• Assist in transferring students to alternate vehicles as needed.
