Job summary

Sunnyside Unified School District is seeking an Automotive Bus Mechanic Assistant to assist with routine maintenance of buses and vehicles ensuring safe transportation of students and staff. Qualifications

• Minimum one year of mechanical or machinery-related work experience.
• Possession of a valid Arizona driver license with class B CDL certification.
• Fluency in Spanish and English may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance and repair work on buses, vehicles and equipment.
• Replace tires and assist with oil changes.
• Respond to bus break downs in-field and return buses for maintenance.

Education
