Job summary

Global Medical Response in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Mechanic to ensure retrieved vehicles are mechanically sound and ready for crews and patients. The role focuses on reducing downtime and delivering high-quality, reliable vehicles.

You will respond to field breakdowns, locate parts via the parts system, and document work in the maintenance database. A HS diploma and valid driver’s license are required; ASE certifications are preferred and should be obtained within the first year.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• ASE certifications preferred, to be obtained within the first year.
• 2 years verifiable Line Mechanic or Mechanic Helper experience.

Responsibilities

• Mechanic performs mechanical and electrical repairs per policies and procedures.
• Responds to vehicle breakdowns in the field when requested.
• Utilizes parts computer program to locate needed parts and verify correct application.
• Maintains maintenance database to document all completed tasks / job assignments.
