Job summary

Signature Landscape, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of vehicles, trailers, and landscape equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, tire work, and routine service to keep crews productive and equipment reliable.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of mechanical repair experience, a valid driver's license, and a commitment to safety. DOT physical and pre-employment screening are required; cross-training in small-engine repair is

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of mechanical repair experience or equivalent training.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing vehicles, trucks, trailers, or equipment.
• Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to complete routine maintenance records, reports, and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Signature Landscape's fleet of vehicles, trailers, and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled services (oil changes, brake service, tire maintenance).
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Inspect, estimate repairs, and obtain authorization for major work.
• Maintain logs, work orders, and inventory records.
• Follow safety policies and keep work area clean and organized.
• Cross-train in small-engine repair and assist others as needed.
