Job summary

Thomasville Restoration is seeking a Mechanic Assistant to support our fleet and equipment mechanics with maintenance, inspections, repairs, and servicing. Under supervision, you will gain hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair while contributing to safe, reliable operations.

You will assist with preventive maintenance, tire checks, fluid replacements, inspections, stock parts, and keep accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle components and maintenance practices.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds with assistance.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends or emergency call-outs.

Responsibilities

• Assist mechanics with preventive maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance, tire checks, and fluid replacements.
• Assist with vehicle inspections and safety checks.
• Load, unload, and stock repair parts, tools, and supplies.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and service documentation.
• Follow all safety policies and operating procedures.
