Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Retain and renew all certifications required for Fleet Maintenance Mechanic B as listed within the job description and skills matrix.
• Cleans, inspects, and performs preventative fleet maintenance and basic repairs as scheduled.
• Responds to emergency equipment breakdowns and makes necessary repairs promptly.
• Reads and understands equipment literature (OEM manuals, diagrams, schematics, recalls, and tech bulletins).
• Disassembles/assembles fleet equipment to perform repairs and preventative maintenance; may complete engine rebuilds and related tasks.
• Completes inspection reports, maintains logs, and documents materials usage and time entries.
