Job summary

Liberty Coca-Cola Beverages LLC is seeking a Fleet Mechanic in New Jersey to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet. The role involves diagnosing issues and completing repairs across a range of vehicles, with emphasis on safety and compliance with company and legal standards.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ years with light/heavy equipment, and CDL Class A. ASE certification is a plus; candidates should be able to lift 50+ pounds and operate hand tools

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of mechanic experience on light and heavy equipment.
• 3+ years journeyman mechanic experience preferred.
• Gasoline, diesel and propane vehicle experience preferred.
• Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude.
• May be required to supply automotive hand tools (Not including heavy duty or diagnostic tools).
• ASE certification preferred.
• CDL Class A required.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and complete repairs on all types of vehicles.
• Ensure safety of people, workplace and environment and comply with company and legal requirements.
• Physical duties include bending, kneeling, lifting 50+ pounds and climbing.
