Summary: The Fleet Mechanic plays a key role in diagnosing, servicing, and repairing various systems on JH Kelly equipment and vehicles, including but not limited to semi-trucks/trailers, aerial lifts, forklifts, excavators, backhoes, cranes, air compressors, welders, pickups, and flatbeds. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, highly skilled, and adaptable problem-solvers with a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
Salary Range: $26-$30 per hour (DOE), FLSA non-exempt (OT eligible).

Physical Requirements:
Physical requirements for this role include working in a shop setting. The position requires the ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds. It demands frequent standing, walking, bending, and kneeling throughout the workday, as well as proficiency in using hand and power tools, which require manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Good vision and hearing are essential, along with the ability to operate and maneuver vehicles and heavy equipment safely. Employees must adhere to a specific dress code, including sturdy, closed-toe non-slip shoes, comfortable but fitted clothing, and long pants for safety and efficiency in the shop.
