Job Description

The Fleet Mechanic performs repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles, including trucks, trailers, forklifts, and automobiles, ensuring compliance with DOT and regulatory standards for safe, efficient operation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair fleet vehicles.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance.
• Test equipment for proper functioning.
• Respond to service calls.
• Complete paperwork.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of auto and heavy equipment repair experience.
• Class A CDL & clean MVR preferred.
• ASE certification desirable.
• Ability to supply hand tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of repair methods.
• Ability to lift, push, pull 50+ pounds, and perform physical tasks.
