City of Phoenix seeks an Automotive Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair a diverse fleet, including Police and Fire units. The role covers all repair phases and may involve training junior staff. Candidates should meet ASE Master, ADEQ, and EPA 609 certs, with experience in fleet software.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in the maintenance, repair, and computerized diagnostics of automotive equipment.
• OR Four years of experience as an Equipment Service Worker II.
• OR an Associate's degree in automotive technology from an accredited college.
• Plus two years of experience in the maintenance, repair, and computerized diagnostics of automotive equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of City vehicles.
• Complete all phases of repair from diagnosis to final inspection.
• May assist in training junior technicians and Equipment Service Workers.
