Job summary

Valley Tree Care LLC is seeking a seasoned Fleet Manager/Equipment Supervisor to lead the maintenance of trucks, trailers and heavy equipment. You will work closely with management to meet vehicle maintenance goals and coordinate with vendors for repairs.

This full-time role requires hands-on experience in fleet/equipment maintenance, a valid driver's license, and a safe driving record. You must be able to work outside in varying weather and communicate clearly.

Fleet Manager/Equipment Supervisor

Valley Tree Care is looking for a seasoned Automotive and Equipment Mechanic to join our team!

Compensation: $20 - $30 / hour depending on qualifications and experience

Requirements:

• Growth oriented, proactive, problem solving, and professional
• Driven and self-motivated, as you will be working alone majority of the time
• Industry experience in fleet maintenance or equipment maintenance is essential
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices and regulatory requirements
• Prior mechanic experience
• Prior heavy truck/trailer repair and maintenance (plus, not required)
• Strong dedication to safety
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and crawl to repair vehicles
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license AND clean driving record (REQUIRED)

Job Description:

• Work closely with management to ensure vehicle and equipment maintenance goals are met

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

Monday to Friday with the understanding that working some weekends may be required

Experience:

• 3 years of mechanic experience preferred

License/Certification:
