Job summary

SavATree is seeking a Mechanic to ensure all fleet vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and ready for use. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs, coordinate with managers, and prioritize issues from inspection reports.

Candidates should have experience with small and diesel engines, aerial lift trucks, spray equipment, and possess basic personal tools. A valid driver’s license is required; ASE certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in small engine repair and two-stroke engine maintenance.
• Diesel engine repair and maintenance experience.
• Experience operating and maintaining aerial lift (bucket) trucks.
• Experience with spray equipment, tanks, and pumps.
• Your own basic tools for engine repair and maintenance.
• Ability to read and comprehend instruction manuals, diagnostic charts, and troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues.
• A valid driver’s license (CDL preferred)
• ASE certification a plus
• Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Performing preventative maintenance and major repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Coordinating repairs and maintenance with Managers and field specialists.
• Reviewing Vehicle Inspection Reports to prioritize work and address issues promptly.
• Ordering and receiving parts and supplies, completing required paperwork for the office and vendors.
• Training field specialists on equipment maintenance and safe vehicle operation whenever possible.
• Maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment in the shop and yard.

Position Summary
