Job summary

FCC Environmental Services, LLC is seeking a maintenance supervisor to oversee a team of mechanics, coordinate scheduled maintenance, and ensure safety and quality across operations in Saint Augustine, FL. The role focuses on DVIR reviews, PM execution, and reliable vehicle availability.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree (accredited) or equivalent experience, plus several years in supervision, with strong knowledge of safety policies and vehicle systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with relevant work experience.
• Experience supervising mechanics and coordinating maintenance teams.
• Knowledge of DVIR processes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise maintenance work, monitor progress and quality.
• Review DVIR repairs, prioritize tasks and assign repairs.
• Supervise mechanics, including coaching and training.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and policies.
• Assign PMs per schedule and conduct PM inspections.
• Ensure safe and reliable vehicles meet operational needs.
• Utilize vehicle management systems for asset tracking.
• Ensure shops are adequately staffed and training is up to date.
• Comply with FCC safety standards and regulations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinates and supervises all maintenance work and repairs, and monitors progress and quality.
• Reviews DVIR repairs and prioritizes and assigns repairs. Ensures the DVIR process is followed
• Supervises mechanics including, coaching, and training.
• Ensures consistent application of safety regulations and policies.
• Assigns PMs per the PM schedule and conducts quality inspections on the PMs.
• Ensures safe and reliable vehicles are available to meet operational requirements
• Manages effective utilization of vehicle assets - utilize vehicle management systems
• Ensures maintenance shops are adequately staffed and mechanics are properly trained
• Complies with and ensures adherence to FCC’s high level of safety standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations
• Any other duties necessary to make your shop, employees and FCC successful, ethical, and safe

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree (accredited), or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and Five (5) years of relevant work experience.
