Total Transportation is hiring a Dedicated Fleet Manager in Statesville, NC. The role runs 7:00am to 4:00pm and focuses on driver performance, lane management, and on-time service. You will oversee fleet maintenance, maximize tractor utilization, and maintain strong customer relations.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years in high-volume operations, and at least 1 year of leadership. DOT knowledge and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of high-volume operational experience.
• Minimum 1 year leadership experience.
• Experience in the transportation industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervises driver performance to balance business needs and driver needs.
• Addresses issues and disputes for drivers.
• Tracks lanes and ETAs with customers and shipping locations.
• Ensures on-time service through driver and equipment performance.
• Maintains fleet maintenance programs for tractors and trailers.
• Maximizes revenue per tractor through proper equipment utilization.
• Documents and communicates service issues.
• Builds trust and integrity with customers.
• Coordinate with drivers on drug screens and CDL renewals.
• Maintain attendance and punctuality for department efficiency.
• Access and update customer web portals as needed.
• Perform load planning to ensure on-time service and utilization.
• Conduct HOS safety audits.
