Fleet Manager – Dayton, Ohio

Valicor Environmental Services is seeking a Fleet Manager for our Dayton, Ohio facility.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least five (5) years of experience in fleet transportation/logistics at a supervisory level or higher.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively in high-stress situations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities:

• Manage and dispatch fleet activities, including planning and scheduling driver routes.
• Oversee the fleet maintenance program for Dayton, Ohio.
• Plan and coordinate weekly routes, collaborating with internal and external parties.
• Adjust driver schedules and routes to optimize operations based on capacity.
• Make quick decisions on last-minute scheduling issues using creativity and problem-solving skills.
• Serve as the primary contact for transportation-related issues.
• Work independently to resolve issues and escalate when necessary.
• Provide timely and exceptional customer service to internal and external clients regarding planning, scheduling, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with DOT requirements and other relevant regulations.
• Train drivers on company safety policies and procedures.
