Responsibilities:

• Oversee maintenance schedules and inspections to ensure all vehicles are safe, compliant with regulations, and in optimal condition.
• Manage vehicle procurement, disposal, and inventory to maintain a cost-effective fleet size aligned with organizational needs.
• Monitor fuel consumption, telematics data, and driver behavior to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation laws and safety regulations.
• Develop and implement policies related to fleet safety, driver conduct, and operational procedures.
• Lead training sessions for drivers on safety protocols, vehicle operation, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, maintenance history, incident reports, and licensing documentation.
• Collaborate with vendors for vehicle repairs, parts procurement, insurance claims, and other fleet-related services.
• Analyze fleet performance metrics regularly to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
