Mohenis Services Inc. is a 90-year-old, third-generation family-owned regional service company. As our fleet has expanded across ten states, we are seeking a Fleet Manager. This leadership role offers a hands-on, results-driven opportunity to manage a diverse fleet, related assets, and supporting processes. The Fleet Manager will oversee the company's assets to maximize efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have experience managing corporate fleets, including third-party maintenance management, strong leadership skills, excellent organizational and communication abilities, and a solid understanding of vehicle maintenance and compliance regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage fleet specifications for light, medium, and heavy vehicles, including maintenance, repairs, registration, and insurance to ensure safety, dependability, and presentation.
• Develop and implement fleet management policies and procedures covering vehicle utilization, fuel management, and driver safety programs.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to fleet operations, including licensing, registration, and inspections.
• Monitor fleet performance to identify opportunities for cost reduction, increased productivity, and overall efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with internal business units to understand transportation needs and develop effective solutions.
• Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers for timely and cost-effective vehicle procurement, maintenance, and repairs.
• Maintain accurate fleet records and reports, including vehicle inventory, maintenance schedules, and fuel usage.
• Monitor fleet telematics for safety and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of fleet management experience managing at least 100 vehicles.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Deep knowledge of compliance and safety regulations.
• Proven track record of reducing costs and boosting productivity in fleet operations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
• Willingness and ability to travel to various company sites and vendor locations.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience with Fleetmaster and Hino is a plus.
