Business Development Manager, Fleet Upfitting | Utilimaster | Remote

Regular Employee | Salary Non-Exempt

Overview

As the Business Development Manager, Fleet Upfitting (Remote) for Utilimaster (A Shyft Brand), you will be accountable for driving new business with a focus on Commercial Truck Upfitters.

You will spend approximately 70% of your time on developing new business development, and 30% on nurturing your existing customer base. In addition, travel up to 50%.

Core Responsibilities
  1. Generate and qualify new leads
  2. Develop and execute market penetration strategies
  3. Build and manage a robust sales pipeline
  4. Negotiate and close complex leasing deals
  5. Represent us at industry events and prospect new clients

Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree and four or more (4+) years of new business development experience (or) a High School Diploma/GED and eight or more (8+) years of new business development experience
  2. 3+ years' outside sales experience with Commercial Truck Upfitters
  3. Proven lead generation and closing skills
  4. Strong prospecting and networking abilities
  5. Hunter mentality with a drive to exceed targets
  6. Proficient in Microsoft 365
  7. Ability to travel up to 50%
