Job summary

Old-Castle-Building-Envelop in Denver is seeking a Fleet Manager to schedule trucks for delivery, ensure DOT compliance, supervise drivers, and oversee fleet maintenance. This role suits someone who can work independently and stay organized while supporting a national distribution network.

You will coordinate routes, prepare logs, and maintain carrier relationships, contributing to on-time deliveries and safe operations across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years managing DOT-regulated drivers and scheduling transportation.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure.
• Experience in the glass industry and a valid (unexpired) CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise drivers, ensure adherence to DOT and company policies, audit logs, and maintain driver qualification files.
• Conduct driver training, schedule routes and deliveries, and coordinate workloads.
• Prepare delivery schedules, bill of ladings, trip records, and fuel tax reports; manage common carrier shipments.
• Inspect load securely, review proof of deliveries, handle rejected goods, and coordinate reorders.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance programs and ensure all vehicles meet regulatory standards.

TheFleet Manageris focused on scheduling trucks for delivery and keeping the company in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, supervising drivers, and fleet maintenance.

Job responsibilities include:

• Supervise drivers, ensure adherence to DOT and company policies, audit logs, and maintain driver qualification files.
• Conduct driver training, schedule routes and deliveries, and coordinate workloads.

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum 2 years managing DOT-regulated drivers and scheduling transportation; working knowledge of DOT regulations required.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively (verbal and written); basic math aptitude and computer familiarity.
• Must be able to read and use a tape measurer.
• Professional, courteous communication with customers and drivers; safety-first mindset and team-oriented attitude.
• Experience in the glass industry and a valid (unexpired) CDL are preferred.

Position Pay Range

$81,000 - $101,000 CAD
