Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking a Fleet Manager to coordinate with field managers and leadership to ensure FMCSA compliance and manage our GPS/Samsara program.

The role requires auditing driver files, reporting to senior leadership, and maintaining gateway health across fleet and equipment; travel is expected and full-time hours.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with FMCSA regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Experience with safety audits or driver file reviews is a plus.

  • Manage Samsara program and ensure gateway health on fleet equipment.
  • Coordinate with Operations to maintain gateway health and compliance.
  • Conduct audits at facility locations for FMCSA driver files and equipment.
  • Provide weekly reports to operations regarding fleet and driver compliance.

Description

SUMMARY

The Fleet Manager will coordinate with field managers and leadership to ensure fleet compliance mandated by FMCSA and manage the companies GPS tracking program.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Ensure fleet compliance with FMCSA regulations.
  • Manage our Samsara program. Ensuring gateway installed and maintained on fleet and other equipment. Monitory Samsara daily to ensure fleet and driver safety and compliance.
  • Coordinate with Operations to ensure fleet compliance and gateway health of our Samsara units.
  • Conduct audits at facility locations for compliance with FMCSA driver files and equipment.
  • Keep Senior Leadership informed of fleet and Samsara compliance.
  • Provide weekly report to operations regarding fleet and driver compliance.
  • Be proficient in the use of Word, Power Point and Excel computer programs, televisions, digital & single lens reflex cameras, multi-media projectors, and computers for course deliveries.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • At least 5 years of experience dealing with FMCSA regulations.
  • Knowledge working with Samsara a plus.

  • Organizational Skills .
POSITION REQUIREMENTS & DEMANDS
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

POSITION TYPE & EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time position. This position may be required to work beyond a 40 hour work week.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Travel is expected for this position.
