Qualifications

  • Physical ability for lifting, bending, reaching, climbing.
  • Ability to pass Forklift Skills test (if applicable).

Responsibilities

  • Perform PMs and repairs independently on diverse fleet equipment.
  • Utilize advanced technology and diagnostic tools for repairs.
  • Maintain documentation and respond to service calls.

Skills

Mechanical knowledge of gas and diesel repair
Experience with hydraulic and air brake systems
Knowledge of internal combustion engines
Computer skills (diagnostics, work orders)

Job description

PBNA $27.50 / hour

Target Pay of $27.50

  • Mechanic B - $27.50 per hour (90% of wage during initial probationary period)
  • Mechanic A - $28.75 per hour (90% of wage during initial probationary period)
  • Qualifications will be reviewed during the interview process to determine A vs B mechanic status
  • Evening shift (M-F, 1pm to 9:30pm)

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform PMs and repairs independently
  • Utilize advanced technology and diagnostic tools
  • Work on diverse fleet equipment including automobiles, trucks, vans, and forklifts
  • Diagnose vehicle failures and perform disassembly, repair, and reassembly
  • Maintain documentation and records
  • Respond to service calls
  • Contribute to maintaining one of the largest fleets in North America
Minimum Requirements:
  • Own basic hand tools (diagnostic and high-tech equipment provided)
  • Physical ability for lifting, bending, reaching, climbing, and handling objects
  • At least 18 years old
  • Ability to pass Forklift Skills test (if applicable)
  • Mechanical knowledge of gas and diesel repair
  • Experience with hydraulic and air brake systems
  • Knowledge of internal combustion engines
  • Knowledge of Preventative Maintenance
Helpful Experience:
  • Forklift repair (propane, electrical, hydraulic systems)
  • Computer skills (diagnostics, work orders, using various software)
  • Experience with manufacturing standards and electronics
  • Valid U.S. Class A or B CDL (for truck driving)
  • Heavy-duty and light truck repair experience
