Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Technician I to maintain and repair the Mobile Storage rental fleet, including containers and modular buildings. You will perform cleaning and routine maintenance following company standards under supervision.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent and a valid state driver’s license. The role involves site travel, teamwork, and safe handling of equipment with growth opportunities within a supportive, safety-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Active state driver’s license required.
• Related maintenance experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated time management and teamwork skills.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use required information technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance and repairs on Mobile Storage fleet equipment.
• Ensure work is completed safely and per company standards.
• Document work orders accurately and on time.
• Travel to customer sites to set up office trailers as needed.
• Operate forklifts and assist with equipment handling.
• Maintain shop, yard, tools, and supplies in an organized manner.
