MTM Transit is hiring ASE Certified Technicians and offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus!

We are seeking A and B level Fleet Maintenance Technicians/Mechanics to maintain a fleet of 96 vehicles at our Denver, CO location. Responsibilities include service, diagnosing, repair, and general maintenance of MTM Transit service vehicles.

Schedule: 4, 10-hour shifts, Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 pm - 6:30 am

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain, service, diagnose, and repair MTM Transit vehicles
• Perform repairs on automotive/light-duty vehicles, powertrains, chassis, electrical systems, HVAC systems, wheelchair lifts, and vehicle accessories
• Document repair activities in electronic fleet management system
• Perform preventive maintenance as needed
• Collaborate with Fleet Maintenance Manager and General Manager
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum qualifications:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• At least 1 year of auto/truck experience or automotive courses; multi-year experience and certifications are a plus for higher levels
• Valid driver’s license
• AC609 Certification or ability to obtain it
• Own proper hand tools or willingness to acquire them; diagnostic and heavy equipment provided by MTM
• At least one current ASE certification
• Ability to pass DOT Physical and Motor Vehicle Record background check
• Experience with hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment

Working conditions:

• May work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Shop environment, possibly without air conditioning
• Potential travel and variable shifts based on business needs

Physical requirements:

• Ability to drive and pass DOT physical and drug test
• Effective communication skills
• Use of standard office equipment
• Ability to bend, stoop, crawl, reach overhead, and lift 50 lbs

Pay range: $30 to $37 per hour, depending on experience.
