Job summary

The Dunlin, Auberge Collection, is a coastal escape on Johns Island in South Carolina’s Sea Islands. We are seeking a Fleet Maintenance professional to keep our resort vehicles safe and on schedule through inspections and repairs.

You will diagnose issues, maintain records, coordinate with vendors, and ensure regulatory safety standards are met to support smooth daily operations at our boutique property.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in automotive or diesel mechanics preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in vehicle maintenance or fleet operations, with strong diagnostic and repair skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance, including DOT regulations and vehicle inspection protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all fleet vehicles to ensure safety and reliability.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and complete necessary repairs on engines, brakes, transmissions, and electrical systems.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation for each vehicle to track maintenance history and compliance.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for parts, repairs, and outsourced services as needed.
• Ensure all vehicles meet regulatory and safety standards, supporting smooth and compliant daily operations.
