Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or mechanical trade school with 1 year related experience.
• All required certification(s) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid State of Michigan Commercial Driver License Class A with N endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Installs, calibrates, programs, operates, and/or repairs controls for salting streets and related systems.
• Repairs equipment and vehicles including sweepers, pumps and valves, plows, bulldozers, graders, and related gear.
• Orders parts and maintains inventory levels.
• Trains staff in operating trucks and equipment.
• Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
