An established industry player is seeking skilled automotive technicians to maintain and repair its fleet of vehicles. This role involves performing essential mechanical tasks, including inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Work Location: 1100 26th Avenue East, Bradenton, Florida 34208
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Saturday and Sunday vary with On-Call and Emergency
To perform skilled manual and mechanical tasks necessary for repair and preventive maintenance of the County's fleet vehicles and vehicular equipment.
Note: Depending on qualifications (DOQ), position level and salary will be based upon education, experience certifications, and/or licenses.

Education:
High school graduate/equivalent.
Experience:
All levels: Must possess a complete set of department-approved automotive mechanic tools.
Licenses/Certifications:
All Levels:
Valid Florida Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class "B" with P (Passenger) endorsement or must obtain within six (6) months of hire.
All levels must possess a complete, department-approved, set of automotive mechanic tools. All positions will be given a tool allowance ranging from $1.84-$2.62, depending on hired level.
