Job summary

Transdev in Allentown, PA is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain engines across a fleet of buses. You will perform engine repairs, preventive maintenance, and assist senior mechanics in complex tasks.

The role requires 3+ years of automotive experience, ASE certifications, and a tool set. DOT pre-employment screening may apply; shifts and travel may be required depending on location.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an automotive mechanic.
• ASE certifications required; ASE certification program provided.
• Mechanic's Tool Set required.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose engine and vehicle system issues using diagnostic tools.
• Perform moderate to advanced engine repairs and component replacements.
• Assist senior mechanics with complex diagnostics and repairs.
• Execute routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns and optimize performance.
• Provide guidance to junior technicians as needed.
• PMs at specified locations; support travel as required.
