Job summary

Qualifications

3+ years in forklift service or related heavy equipment maintenance.
Strong ability to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics and service docs.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on forklifts, clamp trucks, roll movers, and similar mobile equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, steering, braking, and drive systems.
Diagnose equipment failures using schematics, diagnostic software, and testing equipment.
Complete equipment inspections and maintain safe operating conditions.
Document work orders and equipment history in the CMMS.
Drive reliability improvements to reduce downtime and repeat failures.
Partner with operations and vendors to prioritize repairs and improve fleet performance.
