Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a Fleet Supervisor for VWNJ in Hackensack. You will supervise a large fleet, track costs, oversee inventory systems, and lead ASE-certified mechanics and shop staff. You will present KPIs monthly to leadership and stay current with fleet technologies.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, process improvements, and coordination with the Transportation Manager to ensure safe, efficient operations at the Hackensack site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 year degree in business management required.
• 3-5 years business experience required.
• Minimum 10 years of automobile/truck service and body up-fitting experience, 3 years in a supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

• Supervise VWNJ fleet maintenance work across 400+ vehicles and equipment.
• Track maintenance and repair costs per vehicle.
• Implement and ensure accuracy of bar coded/digital inventory system.
• Oversee training of department personnel in WO Management System.
• Oversee parts inventory scanning and digital inventory control during HXGN transition.
• Manage gasoline inventory and consumption system for ~$2M annual fuel; Hackensack site.
• Assist Transportation Manager and B-operator with on-site bulk fuel deliveries and reporting.
• Lead ASE certified mechanics and shop staff; assign work.
