Job summary

Penske in Riverside, CA seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate, schedule, and audit vehicle maintenance for tractors, trucks and trailers. You will lead diesel technicians, maintain morale, and ensure safety and quality while meeting customer expectations.

Preferred candidates have 3+ years of fleet maintenance supervision or 3 years of team management with strong metrics; a high school diploma is required and an associate degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years fleet maintenance management experience preferred, or at least 3 years of team management in an environment with strong operational metrics.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills required.
• Ability and desire to work in a positive, fast paced and high energy environment.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign work to meet customers’ needs.
• Ensure quality, compliance, and safety of Penske’s assets.
• Control repair, inventory, and labor costs.
• Meet and exceed customer satisfaction.
• Coach and mentor technicians and CSRs.
• Monitor associate work levels.
• Facility management, assuring a clean and safe working environment.
