Albertsons Companies in Salt Lake City is seeking a maintenance supervisor responsible for all vehicle maintenance on all shifts, ensuring repairs follow company guidelines and DOT rules.

You will oversee 5-15 mechanics, track work orders, monitor fleet status, investigate incidents, and coordinate with vendors to obtain better pricing.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and solid computer skills; offering competitive wages, benefits, and training opportunities.

Formación

• Must have working knowledge of government regulations pertaining to transportation.
• Leadership skills and ability to supervise others to achieve results.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Basic computer skills with word processing and spreadsheet applications.
• Analytical ability to handle administrative duties and stay mentally alert.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises associates work performance. Monitors all work orders and preventative maintenance service sheets.
• Tracks equipment movement to schedule daily repairs and maintenance.
• Monitors fleet status through analysis of repairs, tires, reefer hours, and general fleet condition.
• Investigates vehicle accidents, interviews drivers and third parties, and schedules estimates on damage.
• Develops and maintains good relationships with vendors to obtain better pricing on supplies and parts.
• Performs driver road testing, training and qualification.
• Ensures compliance with company and government rules and regulations by all department personnel.
