MV Transportation in Pomona, CA seeks an Assistant Fleet Maintenance Manager to support the Fleet Maintenance Manager in day-to-day maintenance of CNG and propane vehicles.

You will supervise maintenance staff, organize the maintenance yard, and handle administrative duties, including shift coverage when the manager is absent.

The role requires CDL, 3+ years of supervision, and experience with parts inventory, vendors, and fleet financials; ASE certification preferred.

Competenze

• Must hold CDL license and be able to operate in a high-volume shop.
• Candidate must supervise 30+ personnel.
• Experience tracking parts inventories and managing vendors.
• Ability to prioritize and manage work schedules and projects.
• Experience handling fleet financial/accounting aspects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Technical competence in light/medium/heavy-duty vehicle repair and preventive maintenance.
• Demonstrates initiative, professionalism, and tact.
• Minimum 3 years of fleet maintenance supervision.
