Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Manager in Salt Lake City, UT. You will lead the maintenance team, mentor staff, schedule shifts, and oversee equipment maintenance across service centers to maximize uptime and productivity.

You will review parts usage trends, manage inventory, and ensure safety, quality, and compliance with company procedures and DOT policies. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in fleet maintenance.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Current ASE certifications preferred.
• CDL license preferred.
• LTL experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance team and contingent workers, including hiring, mentoring and scheduling.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and out-of-service equipment at Service Centers.
• Facilitate JSP shift bid process for shop staff.
• Supervise routine maintenance to ensure high productivity and timely work orders.
• Monitor inventory levels and movement within thresholds.
• Analyze parts utilization trends to maximize efficiency and uptime.
• Ensure safety, service quality, and maintenance compliance.
