Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services in Winter Haven, FL is seeking a hands-on Fleet Maintenance Operations Manager to lead our service location. You will reduce downtime, manage a team, control inventory and preventive maintenance programs while delivering top-tier customer service.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in similar role, preferably in truck and trailer repair industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of diesel equipment, trailers, and refrigeration systems.
• Excellent communication and team-building skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must possess a toolbox and required tools.
• Experience with safety compliance and repair industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop shop teams across multiple shifts.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through quality service and communication.
• Oversee technician training and performance reviews.
• Manage shop scheduling, workloads, and project coordination.
• Maintain safety programs and conduct inspections.
• Support hands-on shop work during peak times.
• Track department performance and drive efficiency improvements.
• Build strong relationships with vendors and customers.
• Promote a positive, high-performance team culture.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
