Job summary

Entergy Corporation in Texas—Conroe is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to oversee fleet maintenance, repairs, and service facilities in the assigned area. You will lead field teams, develop vendor relationships, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

You will act as the subject-matter expert on fleet asset performance, manage up-fit decisions, and support continuous improvement initiatives within Entergy. The role requires strong leadership and collaboration across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 2-4 years supervising a medium-size service organization or senior leadership experience; 2-4 years in analyzing information and making business decisions.
• 3-5 years supervising vehicle maintenance and repair operations; 3-5 years supervising a geographically dispersed operation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with users and stakeholders.
• Develop key vendor relationships to ensure quality service, maintenance and repair.
• Be the subject matter expert to customers in fleet asset performance, maintenance and repair.
• Establish fleet asset repair and maintenance agreements to meet operational needs on favorable terms.
• Actively participate in the Fleet Management department's safety program and be the Safety Leader for the area.
• Ensure fleet maintenance operations and vehicles comply with DOT and environmental regulations.
• Control fleet asset up-fit and modifications.
• Assist in education and training programs for assigned employees.
• Create and maintain records documenting fleet asset registrations, inspections, repairs and maintenance.
