Amerit Fleet Solutions in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Manager to lead a team of Technicians and Mechanics in a proactive maintenance program to keep light-duty vehicles and equipment safe and efficient.

The role focuses on developing staff, coordinating shop operations, and driving cost efficiencies, with a competitive salary and bonus opportunities. Travel to multiple shop locations is required as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in fleet maintenance or operations capacity.
• 5-8 years of direct management experience.
• Prior technician/mechanic experience.
• Familiarity with light/medium duty vehicle repair and DOT rules.
• Strong leadership, communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, educate and develop employees.
• Monitor performance and be accessible to all shop areas.
• Oversee multiple shop operations and plan daily manpower.
• Support operations on all equipment issues and cost improvements.
• Handle payroll approvals, repair order maintenance and compliance docs.
• Interview and hire for shop positions.
