Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing a fleet repair facility and heavy duty mechanics, with knowledge of HD engines, transmissions and repairs.
• ASE certification for alternative fuels is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily guidance to on-site technicians for safe, efficient maintenance.
• Oversee maintenance, service, diagnosis, major repairs of fleet vehicles and monthly PMs.
• Ensure shop cleanliness and safe working conditions.
• Plan workloads based on preventive maintenance tasks within budget and staffing.
• Maintain and audit RTA maintenance program and work orders.
• Ensure vehicle documentation is current and stored in vehicles.
• Track maintenance data and generate reports for management.
• Review DVIRs and issue work orders for repairs and sign-offs.
