Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor in Fort Lauderdale to lead a team of diesel technicians, schedule maintenance, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. The role involves supervising staff, managing parts and payroll records, and driving shop productivity improvements on a day-to-day basis.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of heavy fleet maintenance experience and at least 1 year in a supervisory role, with strong diagnostics and knowledge of DOT/OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of heavy equipment, fleet, or diesel maintenance experience.
• 1+ year of supervisory, lead technician, or management experience.
• Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and safety regulations.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support diesel technicians and lead technicians.
• Schedule and prioritize maintenance and repair work.
• Conduct shop meetings, inspections, and quality checks.
• Ensure repairs are completed safely and in compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company standards.
• Assist with hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Manage inventory, parts, and shop expenses.
• Troubleshoot complex vehicle and equipment repairs when needed.
• Maintain maintenance records, payroll, and department reports.
• Monitor shop productivity and recommend improvements.
