Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Support and guide other mechanics by sharing expertise, best practices, and informal mentorship.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of repairs, inspections, parts usage, and service history using maintenance software.
• Identify recurring issues within the fleet and recommend practical solutions to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
• Assist with scheduling maintenance and repairs to maximize fleet availability.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, and company policies.
• Monitor parts inventory and communicate needs to management to ensure timely repairs.
• Provide clear updates on fleet status and raise any concerns to management as needed.
