Job summary

flyExclusive is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Maintenance (ADOM) for a specific fleet to ensure aircraft readiness and regulatory compliance in a busy Part 135 operation. You will lead maintenance readiness, coordinate with Control, Planning, QA, and Supply Chain, and drive improvements to optimize dispatch reliability.

The role requires 3–5 years Textron Cessna Citation experience, FAA A&P license, and strong leadership with a hands-on approach to problem solving in a high-demand

Qualifications

• FAA A&P license is required.
• 3–5 years Textron Cessna Citation experience.
• Safety-sensitive role under FAA regulations; pre-employment/random drug testing.
• Authorized to work in the United States; two forms of ID.
• Comprehensive background check including previous employment, education, criminal history.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance readiness and dispatch availability for the assigned fleet.
• Lead and mentor contracted providers.
• Monitor fleet KPIs: dispatch availability, RTS times, deferrals.
• Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Partner with Maintenance Control, Planning, and Supply Chain for parts and tooling.
• Conduct trend analysis on MELs, delays, and AOG events; implement corrective actions.
• Act as primary escalation point for technical issues within the fleet.
• Collaborate with Assistant Chief Pilots and Crew Scheduling for fleet utilization.
• Drive process improvements in maintenance execution and documentation.
• Support the Director of Maintenance Readiness with fleet insights and reports.
