Job summary

A Private Family Enterprise | Flight Department | Pacific Northwest is seeking a Director of Maintenance to own airworthiness, safety, and reliability for a small, high-value corporate fleet. You will set maintenance strategy, manage schedules and vendors, and speak directly with the Chief Pilot and owners.

Must hold FAA A&P certification with IA preferred or obtainable within one year; 5+ years in corporate aviation maintenance; experience with Embraer Legacy 600, Citation 550, or Quest Kodiak;

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or equivalent preferred for aviation leadership
• Experience managing corporate flight department maintenance
• Strong knowledge of FAA Part 91 maintenance requirements

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications across the fleet
• Build and manage maintenance schedules per FAA regulations and OEM guidance
• Maintain technical publications and AD/SB compliance, resolve MEL/CDL items
• Uphold Part 91 compliance and maintain meticulous aircraft records
• Coordinate with flight crews to minimize downtime and communicate with owners
• Manage relationships with MROs, service centers, and suppliers; oversee budgets and inventory
