Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent on the job experience.

• Familiar with Microsoft Office and Excel for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Direct and indirect management of drivers, office staff and customer accounts.
• Oversee Transportation Network Coordinators and Logistics Coordinator on daily tasks.
• Manage freight and drivers’ hours under DOT regulations for safe, timely delivery.
• Utilize assets (trucks/trailers) with emphasis on utilization and slip-seating where needed.
• Lead safety initiatives with the Safety department and monitor compliance monthly.
• Communicate proactively with customers to meet freight commitments and needs.
