Job summary

IRONCLAD Powered by Mersino is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to synchronize resources across branch operations. The role involves coordinating transportation, shipping, and delivery schedules for ongoing projects, while ensuring safety and DOT compliance for the fleet and CDL drivers.

You will work with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to maintain cost-effective logistics, perform inventory audits, and provide timely shipment updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety practices and procedures are adhered to at all times.
• Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations for branch’s fleet and CDL drivers.
• Manage all CDL drivers and yard personnel; coordinate and plan transportation, shipping and delivery schedules for on-going projects.
• Collaborate with suppliers, carriers and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective logistical operations.
• Oversee branch shipping and receiving practices.
• Enforce company policies and procedures with regard to logistics, inventory and fleet management.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Provide timely updates on shipment status to stakeholders.
• Address inquiries and concerns from customers and branches.
• Implement corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings in transportation and logistics operations.
