Swift Transportation Company is seeking a skilled operations leader to manage a fleet of 10+ drivers, optimize driver availability, and review profitability across an assigned area. You will coach drivers, ensure on-time home times, and work to maximize earnings while controlling costs.

This role requires strong communication, multi-tasking, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' in Operations and/or Planning and/or Customer Accounts required.
• Must be able to lead others.
• Must possess exceptional communication skills.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Must be able to work in high pressure situations in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a fleet of 10+ drivers and manage driver availability to maximize productivity.
• Routinely review P/L for assigned area and maximize profitability.
• Develop high performing drivers through daily interactions, coaching and positive reinforcement.
• Meet drive home time expectations by managing expectations and commitments.
• Maximize P/L for all assigned tractors and trailers.
• Proactively manage safety performance to control insurance and claims costs.
