Job summary

The City of Pasadena is seeking a Vehicle and Equipment Aide to support towing, storage yard operations, and basic maintenance of city vehicles and wreckers. You will check vehicles in and out of the impound facility, secure proper signatures, and help maintain meticulous records.

Requirements include a 1-year certificate or 1–2 years of related experience, a valid Texas Driver's License, and a current TDLR license. A rotating schedule, weekends and holidays, is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Texas Driver's License and a good driving record.
• Must maintain a current Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) License.
• Education/experience as specified: either a 1-year certificate or 1–2 years related experience; rotating shift including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Check towed vehicles in and out of City storage lot.
• Perform preventative maintenance on City vehicles and wreckers.
• Tow vehicles to City Impound Facility as requested by Pasadena Police and other Departments.
• Obtain signatures from drivers and ensure all paperwork is complete and accurate.
• Assist in record keeping for the storage yard and ensure proper documentation.
