Job summary

Heartspring is seeking a dependable Mechanic I to maintain our fleet of vehicles, outdoor equipment, and campus grounds. You will perform oil changes, routine maintenance, and basic repairs to keep operations safe and reliable.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a similar role, a High School Diploma or equivalent, and a Kansas Class B license. This full-time shift runs Monday–Friday, with early morning hours. Hands-on work and teamwork with Facilities are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational certification preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in facilities work or a similar vehicle maintenance role.
• Valid Kansas Class B Driver’s License or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine oil changes and preventative maintenance on company vehicles and outdoor equipment.
• Maintain grounds and assist with seasonal campus projects.
• Inspect vehicles, document maintenance, and communicate repair needs to Facilities leadership.
