Job summary

Sysco is hiring for an Operations position responsible for daily checks of oil, fluids, tire pressure and fueling all equipment. Responsibilities include fueling delivery equipment, maintaining fluid levels, assisting the fleet shop, and coordinating with the night warehouse team to prep equipment for use.

The role also covers trailer washing, yard cleanliness, and supporting night spotters. A high school diploma or GED is required with 1-3 months of related experience or training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-3 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Responsibilities

• Fuel every piece of delivery equipment daily.
• Check all fluid levels of power equipment daily.
• Assist the fleet shop when needed.
• Work with both fleet shop and night warehouse management to ready equipment for use.
• Wash trailers per FSQA schedule.
• Keep parking lot clean and free of debris.
• Support the night truck spotters to organize the truck yard.
